Organisers of the Kent County Show, the Kent County Agricultural Society, have announced the main ring attraction for the 2020 Show on 10, 11, 12 July as Joseph’s Amazing Racing Camels.

Joseph’s Amazing Camels have been performing at many of the UK’s top events since 2000 and will be bringing a touch of excitement to the Show as four camels, ridden by expert jockeys, race around the Show’s main ring to be first across the line. Racing camels have not appeared at the Kent County Show since 2013 so are sure to bring something new and entertaining to visitors to the three day agricultural event in July.

Show manager, Lucy Hegarty, said: “We are always looking for something exciting to bring to the Show. Where we’ve had the Household Cavalry bringing a sense of tradition and the International Dzhigitovka Show a touch of daring at previous shows, Joseph’s Amazing Racing Camels will provide some entertaining and humorous performances for visitors to the 2020 Kent County Show.”

Joining the racing camels will be a host of entertainment for the whole family. The Herigeus Hundus saxon re-enactment group will be performing as will the Sheep Show and Punch and Judy. With more to be confirmed, the Kent County Show’s entertainment line up bolsters the event’s collection of livestock and equine competitions, flower shows, vintage vehicles, food hall and retail stands.
