Keeping children entertained is a special skill and here at the Kent County Show we have plenty of fun activities for them to take part in.
Tractor Ted is on hand to teach you all about food and farming. Have a jump on the Tractor Ted bouncy castle or complete the activity trail. Digger Den will also make an appearance to have a go on or try your hand at welly wanging. Find Tractor Ted on stand number 25 (grid ref: J4).
Pony Parties Kent will be providing free pony rides once again in the Country, Game and Canine Area. Mount your noble steed and giddy up! Pony rides will be available between 10.00am-4.00pm subject to breaks and children must be aged 4 and over. We expect this activity to be popular so please arrive early to avoid disappointment. Guides & Scouts
Head into the Woodland Area to see the Kent Guides and Scouts and see how they incorporate the outside in their activities. Find them on stand number 453 and 454 (grid ref: J9).
Floral Art Workshops
Join NAFAS in the Garden Life Marquee on each day of the Show to try your hand at flower arranging. Get your creative juices flowing and create your own floral masterpiece. These workshops are free but donations to NAFAS are welcome. Find the workshops on stand number 260 (grid ref: M6).
Candle Rolling & Dipping
Beeswax has many uses and making candles is one of them. Visit the Kent Beekeepers Associations area in the Garden Life Marquee to have a go at dipping or rolling your own candle to take home. Find candle rolling and dipping on stand number 261 (grid ref: M6).
Punch & Judy
No summer day out would be complete without a show from Punch & Judy. Take a seat and laugh at their comical antics. Find Punch & Judy in the Heritage Section on stand number 443 (grid ref: H7).
The award-winning K Sports’ Activity Hub returns to the Kent County Show for 2018. Test out your hockey and football skills or have a go at a HIIT class. There’ll be competitions, giveaways and prizes throughout the Show for visitors of all ages to get involved with. Find K Sports on stand number 81 (grid ref: L5).
Have a go at driving and operating your own mini digger at the Show. For £4 per ride, become a digger driver and navigate the JCB driving course. Riders must be at least 80cm tall and children under 110cm must have adult supervision. Find JCB Diggerland on stand number 74 (grid ref: M4).
Let the kids blow off some steam on Wacky Wheelers’ Mini Jeeps and take on the Team Wacky Tracks! Suitable for children aged 4+, rides are £5 a go.
