Specialists in on-farm mobile mill and mixing, B&W Feeds, celebrate their 25th anniversary this year as they kick off celebrations at Farm Expo on 4 March.

Starting as the animal feeds division of the local agricultural merchanting company, Blandford & Webb, the company joined the Eastbury Estate group of companies in 1995 and has remained a close-knit family run business throughout its 25 years. Many of its employees have been with B&W Feeds since its beginning, meaning their experience and knowledge is some of the best in the industry.

In their first year of operation, having found problems with the American milling equipment being used, B&W Feeds set out to find an alternative that would be able to provide the best service for mobile on-farm feeds processing. The company imported the first German Buschhoff milling machine to the UK in 1997 and never looked back. They became the sole UK and Ireland distributors for the Buschhoff Company of Germany making sure they are always offering the very best in mill and mixing technology. The latest edition to the fleet has been the Buschhoff Tourmix 04 machine.

During their 25 years of operation, B&W Feeds have worked to always ensure their service is equal to any manufactured feed. They became the first ISO registered mobile feeds service company in the UK in 1998 and then became UFAS compliant in 2004. Further accreditation in 2006 with the NAAC and then organic accreditation demonstrates their core value of ensuring the best service for their customers.

To compliment their mill and mixing business, B&W Feeds have developed a large range of feed products and supplements. Most of these are available bagged or in bulk. They also offer a range of bespoke feeds made to order at their depot.

B&W Feeds’ 25 years of experience has positioned them as a leader in mobile mill and mixing. With premises in Dorset and Kent, B&W Feeds operates across the entire south of England, reaching up as far as Oxfordshire and Essex.
