The Show has opened and the sun is shining, the site looks amazing and all our exhibitors, stands and competitors have done themselves proud.  Kmfm and BBC Radio Kent are recording live this morning and will have coverage throughout the day.  Competitions started a short while ago and the IOD have had a successful Breakfast debating the ‘Future of Food Security’.  The Kent County Show promotes Farming and the Rural Sector and it is going to be even more important over the coming years to be able to produce enough food.

The Show id delighted that livestock entries are up, young farmers have put on an incredible display with 445 young farmers on site competing over the three days.  The Agricultural Area looks fantastic with lots of machinery businesses displaying, modern, innovative and advanced machinery and equipment to help our farmers and growers get food from the farm to the consumer.  We hope that everybody has a fantastic show and don’t forget to tweet or like us on social media.  Happy first Show day.
