Following the success of last years event, the Kent Showground will once again be hosting the Heritage Transport Show and Auction. The day will include displays of vehicles, guest speakers, competitions and related trade stands.
2012 is a special year for a number of vehicles. The Heritage Transport Show and Auction will be hosting displays celebrating the 50th anniversary of the MGB Roadster and the Massey Ferguson 35X as well as 100 years of AEC.
Once again we will be working with the organizers of last year’s successful M&D100 event. This year they will be celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of Maidstone and District and East Kent bus club. There will be a large display of buses and bus related trade stands and as many free vintage bus rides around the Showground as visitors and exhibitors would like. Lambert and Foster have partnered with Kelsey Publishing to help promote the auction for 2012. This will include vehicles and memorabilia from all sections. If your Vehicle Club is interested in attending this event please complete the Club Application Form, we also ask that each exhibitor completes a Vehicle Application Form and all forms are returned to Lucy Hegarty by Friday 23 March 2012. If you are interested in having a trade stand at this event please complete the Trade Application Form and return it to Lucy Hegarty in the Show Office by Friday 23 March 2012. Sizes and prices vary and a detailed explanation can be seen on the trade rules and regulations.
Once again we have separate costs for commercial stands and those providing information for services and goods but not selling on Show day. Electricity can be provided but we ask that you provide your own tables and chairs. Please see trade stand rules and regulations before signing the form.
