Shopping has always been one of the experiences that our visitors enjoy at the Kent County Show. With a world of shopping at your finger-tips and more and more people using technology to buy everyday items and browse the internet for special items; the unique shopping experience of the Kent County Show allows shoppers to find that extra something that no computer screen can replace.

The Show has hundreds of different stands selling a wide range of goods and this year we are delighted to welcome, local, national and international exhibitors. Whether it is a serious purchase; a set of garden furniture, a new car, tractor, jacuzzi or something unique and unusual like a piece of jewellery made from a silver spoon, the Kent County Show can accommodate. A full list of our shopping stands are listed in the official Show Guide, sold at all the Showground entrances on Show days.

In the meantime we have compiled just a few examples of stands that we found interesting.

The Kentish Soap Company – If you fancy purchasing some handmade soap, bath and body products then the Kentish Soap Company is the stand to go to! The company is a small, home-based Kentish business focusing on using traditional methods and the highest quality ingredients. They offer a range of boxed gift sets, with bespoke options, which make excellent, distinctive and luxurious presents, body butters, soaps and bath treats.

Mousie Murray – For the last 11 years Carolyn Murray has created jewellery using antique silver spoons! Originally based on her hobby and desire to perfect the technique of manipulating the silver spoons into intricate shapes has now turned into her own business focusing on turning silver spoons into modern and traditional jewellery to fit all tastes. She sources all of their spoons individually at local fairs and antique shops to ensure the highest quality jewellery and research the individual trademark that the spoon has to try and work out the history behind it.  As an additional bonus to the bespoke product, every item of jewellery sold will also have a photo of the original spoon inside the box so people can see what it used to be. This bespoke product is ideal for gifts as there is a guarantee that you won’t find a product like this anywhere else.

Roger Burnay – If you have always wanted a portrait of you beloved pet then visit Roger Burnay at the Show this year. Roger is a pet portrait and wildlife artist who specialises in detailed hand painted original portraits of your pet in Pastels, Coloured Pencils, Acrylics or Oils from client photographs!

Scotts of London – After being inspired by their own pets, Scott’s of London created a company selling their very own Dog Sofas! The key aim of the company is to design, manufacture & supply beautifully handmade quality pet sofas that offer our best friends a warm, secure and hugely comfortable place to relax and sleep. Their dog sofas are all manufactured by hand using traditional methods and the highest quality materials for customers all over the world. Despite the products being tailored to meet the individual’s requirements, the shape of their sofas are all the same as the inspiration comes from wonderful properties owned by the Royal Family, National Trust houses and English heritage! They will be at the show this year with a wide variety of their products.

For the gardening enthusiast, the Show has a large number of exhibitors, from nurseries selling unusual plants to garden buildings.  Arctic Cabins Ltd is a Barbecue Cabin manufacturer and retailer, with a bespoke product range to suit all garden sizes.
