Our Flower Show marquee is 140m x 18m and hosts our flower displays and sales, the hanging basket competition, NAFAS floral art competition, Kent Federation of Horticulture Societies Summer Show, sundries stands and a miniature garden competition for Schools. We also have the Gardening Questiontime Roadshow performing two shows per day, a coffee shop and a plant crèche for those visitor wishing to leave bought items until later in the day.

The area has four entrances into it, meaning footfall is high throughout the three days of our Show. We expect a high standard of displays and hope that you may be interested in providing a display or sales stand. Below are the options for involvement with our Show:

Flower Show Display and Sales Stand

Stand space is FREE of charge which includes a display area and a small selling area where you can sell plants throughout the Show. Each exhibit will be judged with the Top Gold Award being presented with £350.

Miniature Garden Competition for Schools and Groups

Why not enter the miniature garden competition for schools and clubs at the Kent County Show?

All you need is a seed tray measuring no more than 38cm x 24cm x 10cm ‘planted’ with your garden design. This can be as creative as you like and can include flowers, fruit and vegetables or craft materials. Seed trays can be designed by classes or individuals (if individuals we may have to limit numbers depending on how many entries we receive). The Miniature Garden Competition for Schools will be judged by a Society chosen Judge at the Kent County Show. Miniature Gardens can be based on any theme and will be placed on tables inside the Flower Show Marquee. The winning School will receive local garden centre vouchers.

Demonstration on the Stage/Question and Answer session

There will be a stage within the Flower Show marquee that will run a timetable of events. If you are interested in hosting a section on this stage, please let Lucy Hegarty in the Show Office know.
